When will this acorn grow

Written and Illustrated by James Taylor

This picture book looks at patience, in a humorous way.

One day a boy finds an acorn and his grandad tells him that if he plants it and looks after it, one day it will grow into a mighty oak tree!

The boy becomes wild with ideas – what will he do with his tree?

Every parent knows that a child’s patience is limited. In this story the boy has imaginative ideas as to why the acorn is taking so long to grow, while his grandad wisely teaches the true lesson of what it means to be patient!
